I’m David, a visual storyteller with a background in film and a passion for photography. My journey behind the lens started in the film industry, where I worked on projects like Gook (2017), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Working in the film industry has refined my eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling—skills that now shape my approach to both photography and video.
Whether I’m capturing the raw emotion of a wedding, the energy of an event, or the subtle details of everyday life, my goal is to create images that feel both timeless and authentic. I love blending cinematic techniques with natural moments to produce compelling visual narratives, whether through still photography or motion.
Beyond the camera, I have a deep appreciation for movement, expression, and storytelling in all forms. While pursuing my doctorate in occupational therapy, I gained a unique perspective on human connection and resilience—insights that influence how I frame my subjects and tell their stories.
When I’m not shooting or editing, you’ll likely find me training jiujitsu, hanging out with my pets, or traveling!
“David does an amazing job with videography. We hired him for our wedding and he was a pleasure to work with. He was great with communication and worked with our photographer to get all the best shots and capture every detail. The video he made of our wedding, reception and getting ready shots were so artistic and beautiful. I treasure the memories captured greatly. He is friendly, professional, flexible and I highly recommend him!”

“Shortly thereafter we reached out and met with David. It didn't take us too long to conclude that he was a good fit for what we were looking for. He had experience with Indian weddings, Vietnamese weddings, and fusion weddings, which was perfect for us. He clearly understood a lot of the traditions and important cultural nuances, so he already had an idea of what was going to be important for us.
His work alone is terrific, but I think it is the intangible attributes that make the difference. David being a personable, easy-going, and responsive individual definitely made my wife and I feel much more comfortable on being in front of a camera.”

“As someone who shies away from the camera, David and his team made me and the rest of our family and friends feel SO comfortable on my wedding day. They made the entire process enjoyable and memorable. David was organized, communicative, understanding, and attentive the entire time leading up to the big day. He took the time to figure out exactly what types of photos we wanted, made sure we didn't miss a photo with any particular friend/family member, and made sure we used our time wisely on our chaotic wedding day. And the results of the video and photos exceeded our expectations (I cannot stop looking at them)!”
